M.Sc. in nursing programme is a two year long course. The Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Nursing (MSN) is an advanced degree for registered nurses. It focuses on the study of advanced nursing topics, clinical nursing, nursing education, research, and statistics, among other things. M.Sc Nursing program is available in 5 branches such as Medical Surgical Nursing, Community Health Nursing, Pediatric Nursing, Mental Health Nursing and Gynecological Nursing. Students who enroll in M.Sc. Nursing programmes are prepared for a variety of careers, including those as a Nursing Instructor, Staff Nurse, Supervisor, Assistant, in-patient care unit nurse, Clinical Nurse Manager, Ward Nurse, Tutor, Paramedic Nurse, and Occupational Health Nurse, Administrators, Clinical Nurse leader and specialist in health policy among others. To pursue M.Sc Nursing degree a candidate must have B.Sc Nursing/ Post Basic B.Sc Nursing degree with one year professional experience with minimum 55% marks.
